SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES

Our supported living services provide innovative and person-centred care and support, which enables people with learning disabilities and autism to live independently in their own homes.

The support we provide is person-centred and tailored to meet individuals’ unique needs, consequently empowering them to live a life according to their choices and wishes. Individuals are able to participate in a range of activities of choice, for example, going on day trips, local attractions such as Zoos, Parks, swimming sessions, gym, meals out, football and any other activities individuals wish to participate in.

DOMICILIARY CARE

Domiciliary care is another part of our services where a carer visits the home of the individual to help/assist with daily activities which they may be struggling with. We hold conversations with our individual clients, and an individual care plan is prepared based on the needs and wishes of the individual. The number of visits required from our carers, therefore, will be based on the identified level of support. Danos Elite care’s overall goal is to provide quality care that promotes the individual’s independence so as to enable them to continue living in their own homes rather than moving into residential/nursing care homes.

Danos Elite Care provides support workers and care assistants to the following client groups (18 years and above):

Vulnerable adults
Adults with physical or mental health needs, including Dementia
Adults with learning disabilities and Autism
End-of-life and palliative care

DOMESTIC CARE

We provide domestic support at all levels, from emptying a bin and replacing a light bulb to cleaning a home and completing all laundry requirements. Our professional staff are trained to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure our clients’ well-being and good health are maintained. We’re more than happy to help with the following:

Food and drink preparation
Food shopping
Cleaning and tidying up
Washing up
Laundry and ironing
Vacuuming and other light household duties
Whether you or your family member require help every day or once a week, help with these household chores can provide significant relief.

PERSONAL CARE

Our professional and caring staff are able to provide a wide range of personal care services,
allowing our clients to maintain their dignity and respect. Our services include:

Assisting clients with their personal hygiene:
Personal care is a regulated activity, which means any aspect of personal care services is required to be registered, inspected and rated. Personal care consists of any aspect or any level of personal hygiene, i.e. washing, bathing, continence care etc. Danos Elite Care is registered with the Quality Care Commission (CQC); therefore, its personal care activity is fully regulated.

Assistance with dressing:
This includes helping clients to get dressed, choosing appropriate clothing or, giving full support in dressing or just helping with socks or surgical stockings etc.

Support with medication:
We can support with full administration of medication, prompting or reminding where appropriate and safe to do. We can also support with the collection and ordering of prescribed medication.

Assistance with meals:
We can support with preparing foods at any level. Help with eating with can also be included.

PHYSICAL DISABILITIES CARE

Just because you have a physical disability does not mean you can’t enjoy a full and active life while living in your own home. Our professional carers will listen to your needs and put together a bespoke support package to meet your requirements. This can range from a once-a-week visit to daily visits or even live-in care. We can support you with a wide range of tasks, including domestic duties around the home, personal care and washing, attending social appointments and hobbies. Indeed, our support packages are aimed at supporting you to stay independent in the comfort of your own home, consequently enabling you to maintain your everyday routine.

SOCIAL STIMULATION

We actively promote social care and encourage socialising in any appropriate form. We can escort and remain with you to participate in any clubs, groups, day centres or colleges. We fully believe that social interaction is paramount in the care, development and rehabilitation of our clients. Support ranges from just basic shopping right through to an activity centre, where we will provide the right level of support you require.

24/7 LIVE-IN CARE
